- INTRODUCTION - MIRRORS
-All of us in this place at one time or another have used a mirror. Mirrors help us to see what we might be missing and through that allows us to see who we are.
-There is something very important about the way a mirror works. It allows us to look at our strengths and weaknesses that we possess and improve them. The mirror has a certain power in it that helps us to really see.
-We are familiar with the fairy tale of about Snow White told by the Brothers Grimm from the 1800’s. Later Walt Disney would add to it and write the story about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In the story there is a magic mirror that the Evil Queen consults on a regular basis. She asks the question, “Who is the fairest of them all?” The mirror always answers back to the Evil Queen, “Snow White is the fairest of them all!” This brings much consternation to the Evil Queen and she sets about and tries to kill Snow White.
-From that little fairy tale there is much that caters to the imagination but one thing is for certain from that story. . . The mirror never lies, it is only filled with truth.
-The mirror pulls no punches and there is never an attempt to fool anyone. It shows us for who we really are. No one has ever been able to successfully hide from the mirror.
